Skeuomorph design is the type of design that uses more realistic elements in the real world and has been applied to material objects, but it is used to represent mobile and computer interfaces.

Basically, all designers claim to hate skeuomorphism now. However, there’s a new form of skeuomorphism emerging. This version is correlated with flat design. It emulates real life, but this new form of skeuomorphism emulates movement and mass instead of texture and lighting. It’s skeuomorphic motion, and it specifically refers to skeuomorphism in animation and transitions. Movement improves usability by adding context and showing cause and effect.

  1. DOPE READ MAN.

Thanks, I'm generally in love with all trend re-iteration, things long gone, but nevertheless becoming next big things. What is dead not only may never die, but can be more alive than ever.

    Conf. vaporwave aesthetics, too.
